In Echoes of Lyra, music isn't decoration — it's the language of a girl who lost her voice. These are the first pieces of that language, composed by Roberto Acebrón.
The Primordial Echo
2:33
Main theme
The first sound that was ever silenced.
This is the theme the whole game is named after. The primordial echo is what remains of a voice after someone buries it: not gone, not lost — just waiting, somewhere deep, for a reason to come back.
It carries Lyra's harp, but it never lets it sing freely. The melody keeps reaching for something and pulling back, the way you stop yourself halfway through a sentence you never dared to finish.
What we want you to feel
We want you to feel a memory you didn't know you had. Something old calling you from far away — sad, but with a thread of light running through it. Not despair: the ache of something that still wants to be said.
Velaria
2:57
The world · exploration
There are worlds born from silence. This is one of them.
Velaria is the world that grew out of everything Lyra couldn't say. It is beautiful and broken at once, built from the emotions she never faced — so its beauty always has something uneasy underneath.
This is the theme you'll live in: it plays while you explore, while you walk through a place that is, quite literally, the inside of someone. It breathes slowly, gives you room, and never tells you where to look.
What we want you to feel
We want you to feel melancholic wonder. The strange beauty of a place that shouldn't exist, and a loneliness that doesn't quite hurt — the sense that you're walking through someone's silence, and that it's letting you in.
